Review & Description
A reflection of women's tolerance observed over time by a curious little girl. In addition, how some Italian immigrant women survived grueling day-to-day toiling in produce factories and canning at home, during the 1940’s. This is a short story of acquaintances and relatives, who because of the same mindset, held their strong family traditions together in a small factory town. (approx. 1500 words).
Carol Aitken is a Teacher in Western New York, who enjoys writing short stories from her observations over the years.
